About Our Preschool

Over the course of our 35-year history, Rome First School continues to provide an engaging and nurturing environment where our students learn through exploration and discovery. Our school’s mission is to provide a strong educational program and cultivate an inclusive community where children can know God’s enduring love.

Beyond The Classroom

At Rome First School, we are fortunate to offer a variety of learning experiences outside of the classroom. We offer Spanish weekly to our Pre-K and Kindergarten students, as well as Music and Art to all of our children. In addition, students in our 3-year-old, Pre-K, and Kindergarten classes enjoy participating in weekly Chapel services led by our Senior Pastor, Valerie Loner.

Our Philosophy:

Happy Children and Happy Parents

We believe the preschool years should be a time in which children feel successful, happy, and relaxed. We will strive to provide a stimulating environment where children will learn through exploration and discovery. Our school is a ministry of the church and we believe that the years your child spends here should help stimulate awareness and love for God.

Our Mission

Our Goals

  • To encourage and promote child development.
  • To promote positive relationships between children and adults.
  • To engage children in age-appropriate activities that will encourage success and creativity.
  • To promote faith in God through prayer, chapel visits, and other religious activities in the classroom.
